Finding balance during seasonal changes - Melding Aromatherapy, Ayurveda and Yoga

Brr. It is a cold rainy day in New England which reminds me to contemplate how each season has a distinct influence on the body and mind. Here in spring the earth beneath us is thawing which leads to increased moisture and dampness. This excess moisture can present within us as congestion, lethargy, and heaviness. This makes spring an important season for cleansing and encouraging movement in the body to counteract (balance) that dampness by stimulating circulation to support and jumpstart our natural detoxification process. We can do this through increasing physical activity and monitoring our eating but today I want to talk about some of my favorite SPRING essences to support this transition.
